With a low player-to-coach ratio of 6:1, each camper benefits from focused attention and meaningful, individualized feedback. Our experienced coaches work closely with players to refine their technique, while AI-powered skating analysis provides detailed insights into stride mechanics and movement efficiency. Combined with structured shooting sessions and dryland training, our camps offer a well-rounded development experience—enhancing shooting accuracy, skating ability, stickhandling, and overall athletic performance.
Safety and comfort are at the heart of our camp experience. Unlike many hockey camps where off-ice time is spent in parking lots or crowded dressing rooms, Barnburner provides a clean, air-conditioned facility with designated spaces for meals, play, and rest. Campers can recharge in our boardroom, enjoying lunches and bonding with peers through fun activities like mini-sticks and gaming consoles. This creates an environment where friendships thrive, fostering camaraderie and teamwork alongside skill development. Of course, hockey training isn’t complete without being able to practice their skills on ice. Rinx is a four-pad arena which is just a three-minute walk down the street where we host on-ice portions of our camps.
Barnburner is the only hockey training program that combines side-by-side skating treadmills, shooting lanes, and dryland training in one dynamic location. This unique setup ensures that players get more reps, more individualized coaching, and more opportunities to apply their learnings—both in our controlled environment and on the ice during sessions.
